1939 Schyver’s Multiphone

By bubblescountNo Comments

A coin operated music device which allowed users access to nearly 200 song selections, as opposed to the 24 selections offered by most jukeboxes of the era. Upon inserting coins, users were connected via phone lines to a team of all female disc jockeys in Seattle (pictured above) who manually played selected songs on a phonograph.
